Removal



1. Disconnect the end of the cable secured to the toothed segment of the clutch pedal.

2. Release the clutch pedal axle clamp and remove the pedal from the axle.

3. Separate the toothed segment and return spring from the pedal, remove the pedal axle caps. Replace worn or damaged parts.

5. Models with automatic adjustment: remove the clamps, take out the pawl and spring (see figure 3.5). Remove the two bushings, then remove the regulator toothed segment and spring, on newer models - the toothed sector.

6. Inspect all parts carefully and replace if necessary.

Installation



7. Automatic adjustment models: Install the pawl, spring, axle and lock. Having correctly positioned the spring and pawl on the rod, install them together with the rod on the pedal according to the drawings (see figure 3.7, a, b). Secure the rod with two clamps.

Attach the return spring to the toothed segment so that its longer end faces the segment and, with the segment and spring mounted on the pedal, attach the short end of the spring to the pedal.

8. Manually adjustable models: Attach the gear sector to the pedal.

9. Install new plugs on the pedal.

10. Models with automatic adjustment: lift the pawl and rotate the segment so that the pawl teeth engage with the toothed part of the segment, secure the return spring to the pedal.

11. Install the assembled pedal onto the axle and secure it with a clamp. Press the pedal several times to adjust the clutch cable tension.
