2. Disconnect the door lock rod retainers from the vertical post (see Figure 18.2).
Figure 18.2. Disconnect the door lock drive rod clamps (indicated by arrows) from the rack.
3. Loosen the top bolt of the rack and tilt it forward.
4. Unscrew the extension mounting screw (located on the door on the latch side), pull the extension out of the fixed guide.
5. Wed the glass with a rubber band so that it doesn't fall (or asking an assistant to support him), drill out (with a 4.5 mm diameter drill) four rivets securing the window regulator mechanism and remove the window regulator (see Figure 18.5).
Figure 18.5. Drill out four rivets (indicated by arrows), securing the window lift mechanism.
6. After lowering the glass, tilt it with the top edge outward (so that the lock rods are behind it) and remove it from the door (see Figure 18.6).
Figure 18.6. Remove the glass from the door.
7. If you are going to replace the glass, position the window regulator guide so that it is 90 mm from the front edge of the glass.
8. If necessary, remove the seal by grasping it at the top corner and carefully pulling it away from the frame. Install the new seal first in the front lower corner, then in sequence on the sides and at the top.
Installation
9. Installation of glass and window regulator is carried out in reverse order. Before reinstalling the door interior trim, check the operation of the window lift.

Removal
10. Roll down the window, then disconnect the negative battery cable.
11. Remove the inner door trim (see Section 9).
12. Unscrew the screw securing the opening mechanism to the door.
13. Starting from the top edge of the window, pull the seal around and remove it.
14. Wedge the glass to prevent it from lowering further, then use a 4.5mm drill bit to drill out the four rivets securing the window regulator assembly.
15. Move the window regulator arm away from the glass guide and remove the window regulator. If the windows have power windows, disconnect the multi-plug.
16. Using a drill, remove the four rivets securing the window regulator bracket at the top and base. Disconnect the multi-plug wiring harness connectors on central locking models and remove the window regulator bracket.
17. After lowering the glass into the base of the door, carefully remove it from the guides. Remove the glass.
Installation
18. Install in reverse order. Use new rivets when securing the bracket and window regulator mechanism. When installing the seal, first hook the front bottom corner, then carefully install the seal around the circle. Before installing the interior door trim, raise and lower the glass to ensure it works.
