Removal
1. Open the rear doors. If you want to remove the left rear door, then remove the inner trim (Section 9).
2. Remove the door opening limiter. Disconnect the wiring from the door components (if any) and pull the wiring harness out of the door. On cars of recent years, remove the trim panel of the air vent on the rear pillar in the passenger compartment and disconnect the multi-pin plugs through the hole created. Release the strut sealing ring and pull out the wiring harness.
3. Mark the position of the door hinges with a suitable marker to restore the original position of the hinges when installing the door. With an assistant supporting the door, unscrew the hinge retaining screws and nuts and remove the door (see Figure 15.3, a, b).

Installation and adjustment
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Align the hinges with the marks you made earlier and tighten the bolts. Make sure the door opening limiter is in the center position (see Figure 15.4).

5. Open and close the doors several times to make sure they do not rub against the body anywhere. Adjust the hinges if necessary to ensure the doors are positioned correctly.
