Removal
All cars
1. Remove the door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section 501-05.
2. Remove the side impact protection reinforcement.
3. Remove the door speaker (if equipped).
4. Disconnect the speaker electrical connector.
5. Disconnect the door latch release lever.

CAUTION: Do not touch the adhesive surface as this will disrupt the re-bonding.
Detach the seal.
- Using a plastic knife (disposable), cut the butyl strip, which will allow you to pull the seal.
Vehicles equipped with electric windows
7. Disconnect the one-touch opening relay (if equipped).
8. Connect the window control switch electrical connector.
Cars equipped with mechanical windows
9. Install the window regulator handle.
All cars
10. Remove the window glass mounting bolts (mechanical window shown).
- Align the mounting bolts with the holes.
11. Disconnect the window glass from the regulator.
- 1. Hold the window glass at the top of the window opening.
- 2. Lower the regulator.
12. Remove the window glass.
- 1. Raise the glass.
- 2. Tilt the glass forward and remove the glass through the front of the door.
Installation
1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order (mechanical window shown).
