Removal
All cars
1. Remove the door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section 501-05.
2. Remove the side impact protection reinforcement.

3. Disconnect the door speaker (if equipped).

4. Disconnect the speaker electrical connector and remove the door speaker.

5. Disconnect the door latch release lever.

CAUTION: Do not touch the adhesive surface as this will disrupt the re-bonding.
Detach the seal.
- Using a plastic knife (disposable), cut the butyl strip, which will allow you to pull the seal.

7. Remove the upper door glass guide retainer.

Cars equipped with mechanical windows
8. Install the window regulator handle.
Vehicles equipped with electric windows
9. Connect the electrical connector of the door window control switch.

All cars
10. Align the regulator clamp with the hole (motorized window shown).

11. Disconnect the window glass from the regulator.
- 1. Push the pin out.
- 2. Push the bushing out.
- 3. Remove the glass from the regulator clamp.

12. After supporting the glass, lower the glass and regulator to the lowest position.
13. Position the bottom of the upper door glass guide on the outside of the door.

NOTE: To make it easier to remove the door glass, stand on the inside of the door. Make sure that the glass is removed from the inside of the door.
Remove the window glass.

Installation
All cars
1. Insert the window glass into the door.

2. Secure the window glass to the regulator clamp.
- 1. Push the sleeve in.
- 2. Push the pin in.
- 3. Push the door glass down firmly to secure the pin in the regulator clamp.

3. Position the bottom of the upper door glass guide on the inside of the door.

4. Close the window.
5. Install the upper door glass guide retainer.

6. Secure the seal.

7. Secure the door latch release lever.

8. Connect the door speaker electrical connector.

9. Install the door speaker.

10. Install the side impact protection reinforcement.

11. Remove the window regulator handle.
Vehicles equipped with power windows
12. Disconnect the door window switch electrical connector.
All cars
13. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Section 501-05 for additional information.
