The following is a description of how to replace the radio that comes standard with the car.

If you later decide to install additional equipment or a different radio, purchase the appropriate Fiesta mounting kit. The mounting kit also includes detailed installation instructions.

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Before removing the radio, first find out if you have the radio activation code and write it down.

2. Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.

3. Using special U-shaped wire brackets, remove the radio. To do this, insert the bracket on each side into the holes provided for this and at the same time press them to the sides 1 (pic. 16.14). This will release the radio mounting clips.

4. Carefully behind the U-shaped wire staples (not to scratch the surface) remove the radio from the socket. This will prevent damage to the radio's mounting clips.
