If you decide to install additional equipment or a different radio in the future, purchase the appropriate mounting kit for your Fiesta. The mounting kit also includes detailed installation instructions.
SEQUENCE OF WORKS
1. Before removing the radio, first find out if you have a radio activation code and write it down.
2. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

3. Using special U-shaped wire clamps, remove the radio. To do this, insert a clamp from each side into the holes provided for this purpose and simultaneously push them to the sides 1 (Fig. 16.14). This will release the radio receiver mounting clamps.
4. Using the U-shaped wire clips, carefully (so as not to scratch the surface) remove the radio from the socket. This will prevent damage to the radio mounting clips.

5. Disconnect the antenna wire, power supply wire, speaker connector and ground wire (Fig. 16.15) and, if necessary, mark them for subsequent installation.
