Radio blocking system in case of theft (Transit 2)

On recent models, the radio installed by Ford as standard equipment has a built-in lock code in case of theft. When the radio is disconnected from the power supply, the locking system is activated and, even if the power source is immediately connected, the radio will not work until the correct code is entered. Therefore, if you do not know the correct code, do not disconnect the battery terminals or remove the radio.

When entering the correct security code, follow the relevant instructions provided in the radio manual. If you enter an incorrect code, the radio will lock and no longer work. If this happens, or if you have lost or forgotten the code, contact your local Ford dealer for advice.
