Anti-theft system of the car (Escort 5)

The anti-theft system operates only when the ignition is off and the doors, trunk and hood are closed. The system is turned on when the car door is closed with the key. Flashing of the control lamp indicates that the anti-theft system is turned on.

If there is an attempt to break into the car, the alarm will sound for 30 seconds, after which the system will switch back to standby mode. To disable the triggered anti-theft system, you must open the door with the key. The trunk can be opened with the key, without disabling the anti-theft system, and after closing the trunk, it is again taken under protection by the anti-theft system.
