Removing the front door trim

PROCEDURE

Disconnect the battery and then remove the inner lining of the outside rear-view mirror. Pull out plug 1 first and then unscrew screw 2.

Remove an internal facing of an external rear-view mirror. 1 plug, 2 screws.
Disconnect the mirror mechanism connector and remove the exterior mirror trim from the disc frame.
Remove the door handle diaphragm. To do this, first remove the plug and then unscrew the screw located behind it.
Remove the door handle trim and..
... unscrew both screws located behind it from the door.
Remove the door trim by unscrewing all the screws (indicated by arrows).

Remove the door trim by removing all screws (arrows).
Disconnect the power window plug and remove the trim from the door.
If you now need to remove the transparent film to get inside the door, then if possible do not grab the contact edges and adhesive surfaces: after that, the film may not adhere tightly enough again and rainwater may penetrate the door.
Complete the work in reverse order and make sure that the film is tightly stretched around the edges. If not, then apply the silicone layer to the adhesive surface.
