Front door trim panel (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Remove the front door opening handle cover by inserting a suitable tool into the hole provided and turning the tool inside the hole.



2. Remove the screws.



3. Disconnect the door latch lock handle socket.

• 1. Remove the cap and unscrew the screw.
• 2. Remove the socket.

4. Remove the door latch lock handle socket.

• Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE: Left hand drive vehicle shown, same for right hand drive vehicles.

Remove the cover.

• 1. Release the clamp.
• 2. Disconnect the glass mounting groove.

6. Remove the trim panel screws.



7. Remove the trim panel.

• 1. Fold the trim panel upward.
• 2. Remove the trim panel.

Installation

1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
