A-pillar trim panel — removal and installation (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Remove the instrument panel side trim panel.



2. Disconnect the B-pillar trim panel.



3. Remove the A-pillar trim panel.

• Remove and discard the clamps/sockets installed on the body.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cell phone microphone (if available).

NOTE: Mark the microphone position on the "A" pillar trim panel.

Remove the cell phone microphone from the A-pillar trim panel.

Installation

1.

NOTE: Make sure the cell phone microphone is installed in the correct position.

NOTE: Install new body mounted clamps/sockets.

To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
