2. Use paint to make alignment marks around the flanges of the luggage rack hinge bolts.
3. Loosen and unscrew the hinge bolts.
4. Remove the trunk lid.
5. Install in reverse order.
6. The trunk lid can be moved forward and backward and from side to side. Up and down adjustment can be made by loosening the hinge screws, then lifting or lowering the lid (see figure).
