Electric motor for headlight beam angle adjustment system (Scorpio 2)

The actuator motor is located at the rear of the headlight.

Removal

Remove the headlight.

Remove the rear headlight cover.



Hold the reflector firmly and turn the actuator motor to the left until the bayonet mount is released. A: left headlight, turn the actuator motor to the right, B: right headlight, turn the actuator motor to the left.



Pull the retaining plate "A" of the adjusting spindle back through the hole in the headlight housing and remove the electric motor.

Installation

Insert the actuator motor into the headlight housing so that the adjusting spindle enters the receiver of the retaining plate.

Press the electric motor and turn it against the direction of the arrow shown in Figure 5657 until the bayonet mount secures it.



Working through the hole in the headlight housing, pull the reflector back until the adjusting spindle is fully engaged in the receiver. Install the headlight.
