Removal and installation the headlight diffuser (Scorpio 2)

Removal

Remove the headlight.

Remove the headlight and parking light bulbs.



Cars up to 8/94: place a suitable screwdriver against the recesses on the housing side and press the spring clips "arrows". Remove the headlight lens together with the sealing gasket.



Cars from 9/94: Unfasten the 4 earrings securing the diffuser to the reflector unit. If necessary, remove the reflector unit from the hinges, see figure.

Installation

Cars up to 8/94: attach the diffuser together with the sealing gasket.

Caution: Ensure the correct installation position of the sealing gasket. Place the spring clips in the designated places at the edge of the diffuser and press them by hand over the edge of the housing.

Cars from 9/94: if removed, secure the reflector unit to the hinges. Then secure the diffuser to the reflector unit with four lugs.

Install the headlight.
