Attention: For vehicles with the TEVES MK II brake system, it is necessary to create pressure in it before opening it. To do this, turn the key in the ignition switch to position 0 and press the brake pedal until (at least 20 times) the resistance to pressing the pedal increases significantly.
Removal
Mark the position of the wheel on the hub with paint. This will allow the balanced wheel to be installed again in its original position.
When loosening the wheel nuts, the vehicle should stand on its wheels.
Raise the rear of the car onto jack stands.
Remove the wheel.
Release the handbrake cable from the retaining clip at the lower wishbone.
Disconnect the brake pad wear indicator sensor connector.
Remove the 2 bolts securing the brake shoe guide to the wheel bearing housing.
Disconnect the handbrake cable from the rocker arm and hang the brake caliper on a wire from the spring so that the brake hose is not twisted or stretched.
If the piston housing needs to be removed, the brake hose must be unscrewed from it.
Caution: Brake fluid will leak out. Collect the brake fluid in a bottle intended exclusively for brake fluid. After assembly, air must be bled from the brake system.
Installation
If removed, screw on the brake hose. Install a new sealing gasket, tighten the connecting bolt to 35 Nm.
Attach the brake shoe guide and tighten both mounting bolts to the bearing housing to a torque of 60 Nm.
Caution: The brake hose must not be twisted during installation.
Secure the handbrake cable with the retaining clip at the lower wishbone.

Place the rear wheels so that the marks made before removal match. Tighten the wheels with nuts. Lower the car and tighten the wheel nuts crosswise to 100 Nm.
Caution: Press the brake pedal hard several times with the vehicle stationary until you feel strong resistance. This will adjust the automatic clearance adjustment mechanism of the parking brake pads.
Check the brake fluid level in the expansion tank and, if necessary, top up the tank to the MAX mark.
