A model with a pronounced angle between the rear window and the luggage compartment.
Removal
Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Caution: When the battery is disconnected, the contents of electronic memory devices, such as engine fault codes or radio codes, are erased. Before disconnecting, also read the instructions in the chapter "Removal and installation the battery".
Open the trunk lid.
Mark the mounting position of the hinges. To do this, trace the hinges on the lid with a felt-tip pen.
Remove the luggage compartment lid trim.
Disconnect the wires of the locking magnet, the central locking system and disconnect the multi-pin plug connector of the luggage compartment security system. To facilitate subsequent assembly, mark the wires with adhesive tape in advance.
Securely tie a strong cord to the end of each wire harness and pull the wire harnesses out of the trunk lid so that the cords remain visible.
Untie the cords from the wiring harnesses. The cords should remain in the trunk lid to facilitate subsequent installation.
Support the lid with a suitable board or wooden stand.

Unscrew the "arrow" bolts of the hinges and remove the trunk lid. An assistant is required to perform this operation. Before loosening the hinge bolts, place a cloth between the lid and the rear window as protection.
Installation
With the help of an assistant, place the trunk lid in the installation position and align it, screw in the mounting bolts and tighten them by hand.
Align the cover at the hinges in accordance with the marks applied and tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 10 Nm.
Tie the cords in the lid to the wire harnesses and carefully pull the harnesses through the lid.
Note: It is possible that the wire harnesses will get stuck when pulled into the cover. In this case, pull the wire harness back a little and try to pull it through the cover again. If, despite this, the wire harness cannot be pulled through, it should be pulled out of the cover again and the plug should be attached to the wire harness or cord with adhesive tape.
Install the trunk lid trim.
Carefully close the trunk lid and check whether the gap between the lid and the adjacent parts is the same and uniform. If necessary, slightly loosen the lid mounting bolts and move the lid accordingly.
Connect the battery ground (-) cable.
If available, set the clock and enter the anti-theft code for the radio.
