Removal and installation the door (Scorpio I) (Scorpio 2)

Removal

Open the door, turn the locking device - hatched arrow - and disconnect the plug connector of the door wiring harness (the left rear door is shown in the figure).

Unscrew bolt "B" securing the door travel limiter.

Remove the caps and unscrew the nuts "A" securing the hinge pins.

Open the door to approximately 60°. Lift the door off the hinges.

Note: If the door does not lift from its hinges, check whether it is opened to the correct angle and whether the hinge pin mounting nuts are loosened.

Remove the door and place it on a clean, soft surface.

Installation

Place the door on both hinge pins and tighten the hinge pin nuts securely. Replace the caps.

Place the door travel limiter and screw it securely.

Connect the multi-pin plug connector and deploy the locking device.

If a new door is installed, it should be adjusted if necessary.
