Removal
Remove the door trim.
Remove the black plastic clips from the door edge. Carefully peel off the protective film.
Caution: The film tears very easily.
Unclip drive rod "A" from its clamp.
If necessary, release the clamp and remove switch "B". Disconnect the switch plug connector.
After detaching from the clamp, remove the lock cylinder together with the drive rod "C".
Installation
Insert the lock cylinder into the door, secure it with a clamp and hang the drive rod.
Align and secure the switch with the lock cylinder. Make sure the clamp securely holds the parts.
Connect the switch plug.
Stick the protective film without creases. Seal the torn areas with wide adhesive tape.
Note: If the protective film is not applied correctly, a draft will form in the car interior when the vehicle is moving.
Install door trim.
