Removal
Remove the door trim, see p. 135.
Remove the black plastic clips from the door edge. Carefully peel off the protective film.
Caution: The film tears very easily.
Model with electric window: Disconnect the window motor connector.
While holding the window glass firmly, remove the two screws securing the glass to the lifting mechanism, see previous chapter.
Carefully insert a wooden wedge between the window glass and the inner window frame to prevent the glass from sliding down.

Unscrew the bolts "B" securing the window glass guide.
Drill out 4 rivets "C" for fastening the lifting mechanism to the door sheet. A - rivets for fastening the electric window lifter.
Remove the lifting mechanism through the large lower opening.
Installation
Insert the lifting mechanism through the large lower opening into the door.
Place the window glass guide mounting bolts in place and tighten by hand.
Align the rivet holes and secure the lifting mechanism with four rivets.
Tighten the lifting mechanism mounting bolts.
Note: The rear bolt must be located at the bottom of the longitudinal hole.
Align the window glass and screw it to the lifting mechanism with two screws.
Note: The screws must be located at the bottom of the longitudinal holes.
Model with electric window: Connect the plug connector of the window lift motor.
Stick the protective film without creases. Seal the torn areas with wide adhesive tape.
Note: If the protective film is not applied correctly, a draft will form in the car interior when the vehicle is moving.
