A car with a pronounced angle between the rear window and the luggage compartment.
Removal
Open the trunk lid.
Remove the trunk lid trim, see previous chapter.
Use a screwdriver to push the spring clip to the side.
To gain access to the lock, remove the drive mechanism from the cover.
Remove the spacer sleeve.
Press the lock cylinder into the cover sheet and remove it by moving it inwards. Turn the drive mechanism 90° and remove the rod.
Unscrew the 4 mounting screws and remove the lock from the trunk lid.
Remove the central locking system microswitch from the lock. To do this, press the microswitch down and fold it back.
If necessary, unscrew the 2 screws securing the actuator motor of the central mashing system to the lock.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
