SEQUENCE OF WORKS
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the trunk lid trim.

3. Unscrew the nuts and remove the lock cylinder lining (Fig. 17.14).

4. Turn counterclockwise and release the lock cylinder retaining ring (Fig. 17.15).
5. Disconnect the rod from the lock cylinder (see Fig. 17.15), press and turn the lock cylinder.
6. If installed, remove the switch that prevents the alarm from being activated.
7. Remove the lock cylinder.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace old and damaged rubber gaskets.
