Removing the trunk lid lock (Fiesta 4)

SEQUENCE OF WORKS

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the trunk lid trim.

3. Remove the rod connecting the lock to the electric motor (Fig. 17.16).

4. Unscrew the lock mounting bolts.

5. Carefully remove the lock from the trunk lid (if equipped, remove the trunk lid control switch).

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
