Removal and installation of the tailgate lock cylinder

1. Remove ground wire from battery.

2. Open the tailgate, unscrew the 11 screws and remove the interior upholstery panel.

3. Unscrew the six nuts securing the tailgate handle. Remove handle. Loosen the locking lug of the switch.

4. Disconnect the control rod from the lock lever. Slide the clip aside and remove the lock cylinder.

5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
