Removal and installation the trunk door lock cylinder (Scorpio 1)

1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.

2. Open the trunk door, unscrew 11 screws and remove the interior trim panel.

3. Unscrew the six nuts securing the trunk door handle. Remove the handle. Loosen the locking lug of the switch.

4. Disconnect the control rod from the lock lever. Move the clamp to the side and remove the lock cylinder.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
