2. Remove the decorative panel from the inner surface of the lid.
3. Remove the connectors from the lock and signal switch.
4. Disconnect the wiring harness from the clamps and tie a cord of the appropriate length to each connector. Remove the wiring harness from the cover, then untie the cord and leave it in the trunk lid.
5. Unscrew the four bolts (indicated by arrows) securing the hinges and remove the cover.
6. Install the lid, aligning the hinges with the previously made marks, and tighten the hinge bolts. Tie a cord to the wiring harness and pull the wires into the trunk lid using the cord.
7. Connect the connectors to the lock and signal switch.
8. Install the decorative panel and secure it with clamps.
9. Close the trunk lid and check that the gap around the perimeter of the lid is the same. If necessary, you can adjust the gaps by loosening the hinge bolts and moving the lid.
10. Tighten the bolts.
