2. Unscrew 4 bolts securing the decorative panel of the cover (2 on each side of the castle) and carefully squeeze out the 9 clips securing the panel and remove the decorative panel from the trunk lid.
3. Unscrew the two nuts securing the lock cylinder, then partially remove it and disconnect the connector and the control rod of the lock. Remove cylinder.
4. unscrew 4 bolts (indicated by arrows) lock fasteners and remove the lock from the trunk lid by disconnecting the switch connectors.
5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
