2. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the decorative panel of the lid (2 on each side of the lock) and carefully press the 9 clips securing the panel and remove the decorative panel from the trunk lid.
3. Unscrew the two nuts securing the lock cylinder, then partially remove it and disconnect the connector and the lock control rod. Remove the cylinder.
4. Unscrew the 4 bolts (indicated by arrows) securing the lock and remove the lock from the trunk lid, disconnecting the switch connectors.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
