Removal and installation of the lock of a back door

1. Remove ground wire from battery.

2. Open the tailgate, unscrew the 11 screws and remove the interior upholstery panel.



3. Disconnect the rod (arrow) control from the lock lever. Disconnect the lock switch and solenoid connector.

4. Unscrew the three bolts securing the lock. Remove lock.

5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
