Removal and installation the rear door lock (Scorpio 1)

1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.

2. Open the trunk door, unscrew 11 screws and remove the interior trim panel.



3. Disconnect the control rod (indicated by the arrow) from the lock lever. Disconnect the lock switch and the solenoid connector.

4. Unscrew the three bolts securing the lock. Remove the lock.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
