Removal. Lock cylinder

Open the rear door, unscrew the 7 screws and remove the door trim. Unscrew the screw and remove the lock cylinder mounting bracket or unscrew the 2 lock cylinder mounting nuts (see Fig. 11.52).

Removal. Lock

Open the rear door and remove the lock cylinder. Unscrew the 3 Torx bolts and remove the lock (see Fig. 11.53).

Removal. Locking plate

Using a soft pencil, mark the installation position of the locking plate. Unscrew the 2 Torx screws and remove the lock locking plate (see Fig. 11.54). Separate the cable from the locking plate.

Removal. Cable

Remove the strike plate and disconnect the cable from it. Unscrew and remove the interior trim of the front and rear door sills on the driver's side. Turn the carpet away from the rear door opening handle. Remove the cable sheath from the grooves in the lever installation plate and disconnect the cable from the lever. Remove the rear door lock opening cable from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
