Removal

Install the mirror glass with your hand completely down. Insert a thin flat-head screwdriver into the upper outer corner of the mirror so that the blade of the screwdriver is behind the glass. Press the glass forward until the outer edge is free. Free the mirror from the inside in the same way. If available, disconnect the electrical connectors from the mirror (see Fig. 11.43, 11.44).





To remove the mirror, remove the door trim.

Unscrew the screw securing the mirror trim and remove the trim from the door using a narrow screwdriver. Place cardboard or a rag underneath to avoid damaging the door paint (see Fig. 11.45).



Using a lever, remove the mirror control unit. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector.



Unscrew the 3 screws holding the mirror while supporting it from the outside. Remove the mirror.

Unscrew the 3 screws securing the mirror control motor (see Fig. 11.46).

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
