Withdrawal

Open the hood and lock in the open position.

Release the clips and remove the soundproof panel from the back of the hood. Remove the windshield washer nozzle hose, close with a suitable plug and release from the mounts on the hood. Unscrew the fastening screw and disconnect the ground bus from the hood near the left hinge. If equipped, disconnect the connector from the heated wiper nozzles. Release the wires from the mounts on the hood and hinges.

Use a soft pencil to mark the position of the hinges on the hood to properly refit the hood. With the help of an assistant, unscrew 2 bolts on each side of the hood and remove the hood.

Installation

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Align the hood in accordance with the previously made marks and screw on the bolts. Adjust the position of the hood so that when the hood is closed, the gap around the perimeter of the hood is the same on all sides. To adjust the front of the hood in height, screw in or unscrew the rubber cushions located on the front of the engine compartment.
