Withdrawal. lock cylinder
Open the trunk lid, unscrew the screw securing the lock cylinder fixing bracket. Remove the bracket. Disconnect the drive rod on the lock cylinder and remove it from the trunk.
Withdrawal. trunk lock
Open the trunk lid and remove the lock cylinder. Unscrew the 3 fixing screws and remove the lock from the cover.
Withdrawal. Striker plate
Unscrew the 2 screws and remove the rear luggage compartment trim. Use a soft pencil to mark the installation position of the locking plate. Remove the 2 Tox bolts and remove the striker plate and spacer. Disconnect the cable from the remote opener
Withdrawal. Cable
Remove the locking plate and disconnect the cable from it. Unscrew and remove the trim on the inside of the front and rear door sills on the driver's side. Unscrew the floor carpet from the trunk opening handle. Remove the cable sheath from the grooves in the lever installation plate. Disconnect the cable from the lever.
Tie a thin long cord to the cable and remove it from the car. Untie the cord and leave it in the car. Cord will be required to re-tighten the cable into place
Installation
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
