Removal and installation the interior rearview mirror (Scorpio 1)

1. Remove the mirror from the windshield by sawing through the adhesive layer under the base of the mirror with a nylon thread.

2. Wipe the base of the mirror and the place where it is attached to the glass with methyl alcohol. The mating surfaces must be absolutely clean, and the glass must be at room temperature.

3. Peel off the protective film from one side of the special adhesive patch. Press the adhesive side of the patch firmly to the base of the mirror.

4. Heat the base of the mirror and the patch to a temperature of 50°–70°C.

5. Remove the protective film from the other side of the patch and press the mirror firmly against the glass for at least 2 minutes.

6. Adjust the mirror position no earlier than after 30 minutes.
