Removing and installing the front seat

1. Slide the seat all the way back, then unscrew the two bolts securing the front of the seat (one of the bolts is indicated by an arrow).

2. Disconnect the auxiliary spring from under the driver's seat (moving the seat forward will loosen the tension on the spring but make it harder to access).

3. Disconnect connectors for seat heater and seat adjustment motors.


4. Slide the seat all the way forward and unscrew the three bolts. These bolts are capped (indicated by the arrow in figure 1) and lid (indicated by the arrow in figure 2).

5. Remove seat complete with seat adjustment mechanism and seat belt buckle.

6. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

Removal and installation of an air pillow of a forward seat



1. Remove the front seat.


2. Remove the side trim from the seat. Remove the air tube by unscrewing the two fixing screws.

3. Separate the backrest from the seat base by unscrewing the four bolts.

4. Remove the backrest upholstery by folding back the retaining tabs and pulling it off.

5. Remove foam pad. Cut the wire loops attaching the corners of the cushion and remove it together with the air hoses.

6. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. In this case, new wire rings must be used.

7. Align the slots in the cushion with the second spring in the backrest.
