1. Remove the two spring clips from the gear selector rod and remove the rod.
2. When installing the rod, set the gear selector lever to the "D" (or "DE") position, install and secure the rod on the gearbox. Rotate the rod length adjustment nut to set the rod length so that it fits freely on the gear selector lever, then secure it with the lock.
3. Check the movement of the gear selector lever in all positions.
4. The movement must be free, with clear fixation in each position, otherwise it is necessary to make additional adjustments to the length of the rod.
