Removal and installation
1. Place the vehicle over an inspection channel or on a lift.
2. Drain the oil from the gearbox.
3. Carefully remove the gearbox oil pan.
4. Unscrew the rear planetary gear hydraulic booster cover and remove it together with the gasket.
5. Remove the rear planetary gear booster piston and replace the sealing ring if necessary.
6. Check the length of the rod. The length of the rod corresponds to the distance between the end of the rod adjacent to the band brake and the edge of the groove for the retaining ring. If necessary, install a rod of the required length.
7. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
