Removal and installation
1. Place the vehicle over an inspection channel or on a lift and disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
2. Unscrew the two bolts and remove the intermediate support of the propeller shaft.
3. Disconnect the suspension crossmember from the gearbox and carefully lower the gearbox.
4. Unscrew the two bolts and remove the speedometer drive.
5. Unscrew the six bolts and remove the gearbox extension housing.

6. Unscrew the two mounting bolts (indicated by arrows) and remove the centrifugal oil pressure regulator from the hub.
7. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When installing the regulator, turn the shaft so that the holes for the regulator mounting bolts are at the bottom, while the regulator spring should be between the valve and the weight.
