Gear Selector Lever Socket — Removal and Installation (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Remove the gear selector knob. For more information, refer to the Gear Selector Knob chapter in this section.

2. Remove the gear selector lever socket (gear selector lever shown in removed position).

• Release the nest.
• Release the backlight lamp.

Installation

1. Install the gear selector lever socket (gear selector lever shown in removed position).

• Secure the socket.
• Fix the backlight lamp.
