Gearshift locking actuator (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Remove the floor console. For additional information, refer to Section 501-12.

2. Disconnect the overdrive (O/D) switch electrical connector (gear selector lever shown in removed position).



3. Remove the shift lock actuator.

• 1. Remove the bolt.
• 2. Remove the handle.
• 3. Pull out the pusher.

Installation

1. Install the shift lock actuator.

• 1. Install the pusher.
• 2. Replace the handle.
• 3. Install the bolt.

2. Connect the O/D switch electrical connector (gear selector lever shown removed).





3. Install the floor console. For additional information, refer to Section 501-12.
