Gear Selector Lever Handle — Removal and Installation (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Remove the floor console. For additional information, refer to Section 501-12.

2. Disconnect the overdrive (O/D) switch electrical connector (gear selector lever shown in removed position).



3. Remove the gear selector lever handle.

• Remove the screw.
• Remove the handle.

Installation

1. Install the handle on the gear selector lever.

• Check the position of the handle.
• Install the screw.

2. Connect the O/D switch electrical connector (gear selector lever shown removed).





3. Install the floor console. For additional information, refer to Section 501-12.
