Gear selector handle — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Remove the floor console. See Section 501-12 for more information.

2. Disconnect the overdrive switch electrical connector (O/D) (gear selector shown in removed position).



3. Remove the gear selector handle.

• Remove the screw.
• Remove the handle.

Installation

1. Install the handle on the selector lever.

• Check the position of the handle.
• Install the screw.

2. Mate the electrical connector of the O/D switch (gear selector shown in removed position).



3. Install the floor console. See Section 501-12 for more information.
