Disassembly

1.

NOTE: When using a vise, install protective liners on the vise jaws.

Disconnect the overdrive (O/D) switch electrical connector.



2. Remove the handle from the gear selector lever. Unscrew the screw.



3. Disassemble the gear selector lever.

• Pull out the pusher.
• Release the nest.

Assembly

1. To assemble, follow the disassembly procedure in reverse order.

• Apply lubricant to all moving and rotating parts.
