Inspection and verification


WARNING: Risk of accident. The parking brake must be applied. Switch the gearbox in the block with the driving axle to the position "R". Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.


Because Fault diagnosis starts from the moment the vehicle is received for repair, we recommend the following procedure:

1. Check the legitimacy of the customer's complaint by activating the system.

2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

3. If an obvious cause of the problem you identified or described by the client is found, eliminate it before proceeding to further actions (if possible).

4. If the cause of the problem is not visually obvious, check the symptom and refer to the Symptom Chart.

• Repair the gear selection lever.

• Shift control is not properly aligned with the gear

• Incorrect adjustment of the gear lever mechanism

•Adjust linkage/selector cable

•Inability to move the gear lever to the position "R" or "1"

• Incorrect adjustment of the linkage/cable of the gear lever

• Malfunction (mechanical) gear selector

• Adjust linkage/selector lever cable.

• Repair the gear selection lever.
