The oil level should be checked immediately after stopping the vehicle, when the oil has warmed up to normal operating temperature (about 65°C).

1. Place the vehicle on a horizontal, level and solid surface, tighten the handbrake lever and press the brake pedal.

2. With the engine idling, move the gearshift lever through all positions three times in succession.

3. Set the gear shift lever to position "P" and wait 1 minute.

4. With the engine idling, remove the gearbox oil level indicator, wipe it clean with a dry, thread-free cloth, insert the indicator into the crankcase hole until it stops, and remove it again. The oil mark should be between the "min" and "max" lines.

5. If necessary, add oil through the level indicator hole in the crankcase.

Attention! If the oil level is below the "min" sign, the tightness of the oil radiator and gearbox should be checked. Dark, or even worse, black, color of the oil indicates significant wear of the brake bands or clutch discs of the automatic transmission. It should be flushed or inspected at a service station.
