Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Section 100-02 for additional information.
2.
NOTE: Place a suitable container under the transmission fluid reservoir.
NOTE: This crankcase is filled with transmission fluid; it is impossible to drain the transmission fluid from the crankcase before removing it.
Remove the transmission fluid housing.
- Remove the bolts.
- Using a special tool, remove the bead of sealant.

3. Thoroughly remove sealant from the surfaces of the transmission fluid case and transaxle case using metal cleaner or equivalent.
Installation
1. Apply a 1.5mm thick bead of Loctite 5699 to the transmission fluid pan.

2. Install the transmission fluid reservoir.

3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Check the transmission fluid level.
