NOTE: The vehicle must be raised so that the wheels are clear and the steering wheel can be turned from lock to lock.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Section 100-02 for additional information.
14.
NOTE: When pouring the working fluid into the reservoir, make sure the fluid is clean. Do not shake it before use. The fluid should be poured into the reservoir slowly to minimize the possibility of it becoming saturated with gas. The fluid level should be checked when the fluid is cold.
Fill the working fluid into the tank up to the "MAX" mark.
15.
CAUTION: Do not crank the engine continuously for more than 30 seconds, as this may damage the starter.
While cranking the engine for a period of time not exceeding 30 seconds, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. With the help of another technician, add 1 liter of clean power steering fluid.
16. Wait 60 seconds to allow the starter to cool.
