– if the next code is 23 or 33, see group 6; – if the coolant temperature is too low, then warm up the engine and repeat the test; – check wire connections.

Intake air temperature sensor
– check wire connections; – check the resistance of the sensor (between the pins of the connector of the electronic control device "25" and "46"): at 20°C: 35 - 40 ohms; at 40°С: 15 - 18 Ohm; at 60°C: 7 - 8.5 ohms.

Throttle position sensor
– if the next code is 25 or 35, see group 7; - Check the condition of the accelerator pedal cable; – check the sensor and its wires; – If the fault is still present, replace the EEC IV electronic control unit.

Absolute pressure sensor
– if the next code is 25 or 35, see group 7; - check the vacuum in the intake manifold at idle - it should be 400–600 mm Hg; – To check tightness of an inlet collector and pressure of compression; – check the tightness of the vacuum pipeline, accumulator and sensor.

Wrong ignition signal "PIP"
– check the wire connections of the EEC IV electronic control device; - check the resistance between the contacts of the connector of the electronic control device: "56" and "36" - 2–5 kOhm; "16" and "40" - 0–2.5 ohms; between (+) battery and ignition coil - 0–2.5 Ohm; – Replace the ignition distributor; – replace the EEC IV electronic control unit.

– check the condition and connection of the connector; - check the resistance of the sensor: at 20°С: 35–40 Ohm; at 40°C: 15–18 ohms; at 60°C: 7-8.5 ohms - check wiring harness; – replace the sensor; – replace the EEC IV electronic control unit.

Throttle position sensor
– to check up a socket; – To check up functioning throttle shutter and a cable of a pedal of an accelerator; - check the resistance between the contacts of the connector of the electronic control device: "26" and "46" - 315–550 Ohm; "47" and "46" - 1.2–2 kOhm; "26" and "47" - 3.5–5.5 kOhm - check the electrical wires; – replace the sensor; – replace the EEC IV electronic control unit.

Absolute pressure sensor
– to check up a socket; – check the condition of the vacuum pipeline and also whether it is original; - check the vacuum in the intake manifold at idle - it should be 400–600 mm Hg; – check electrical wires; – replace the sensor; – replace the EEC IV electronic control unit.

Idle control valve
– check the condition of the valve; – measure the resistance of the valve winding. Should be 6-9 ohms. If the value is incorrect, replace the valve; – Check electrical wires.
