Removal
Remove the tie rod end.

Press the projections of the outer fastening clamp with pliers and remove the clamp.
Loosen the inner clamp or cut it with side cutters
Remove the corrugated cover.
Note: If the bellows has been damaged for a long time, it should be assumed that dirt has penetrated underneath. This dirt, together with the lubricant, acts as a grinding paste and destroys the steering mechanism. In this case, as with rust on the toothed rack, the steering mechanism must be repaired (at a service station).
Installation
The steering rod is easy to lubricate.
Lubricate the corrugated cover inside the flange and pull it onto the steering rod.
Place the corrugated boot on the steering gear housing.
Slide the outer terminal clamp onto the corrugated cover.
Secure the corrugated boot to the steering gear housing using a suitable clamp.
Install the tie rod end.
Lower the car.
Check and adjust wheel alignment if necessary.
