Compensation tank cover with level gauge
A - on a cold engine,
B - on a hot engine
1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature by driving it for approximately 15 km.
2. After turning off the engine, immediately check the power steering fluid level.

3. Unscrew the cover of the expansion tank with liquid and wipe dry the level gauge, which is located on the bottom of the expansion tank cover, and reinstall and remove the cover. Determine the liquid level by the gauge, which should be between the two marks.
4. If the fluid level is low, add fluid (specification ESPM-2C-166H) to the normal level. Add only new fluid.
5. After adding fluid, start the engine and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times, which ensures that air is removed from the system.
