Cleaning drainage holes

            0

During operation, moisture accumulates in the cavities of the thresholds, doors and trunk lid, causing corrosion. Drainage holes located at the bottom of the thresholds are used to remove moisture (under plastic protection thresholds), doors and in the trunk lid. They are constantly clogged with dirt, so clean them at every maintenance (every 20,000 km). When operating the vehicle on country roads, carry out this operation more often.

Note. Clean the drain holes before washing the car.

You will need: a screwdriver or a thin wooden stick.

1. Clean the drain holes in the front doors.

2. Similarly, clean the drainage holes in the rear doors and in the tailgate.

3. We also recommend removing the threshold protection, washing the thresholds under it and cleaning the drainage holes.
