Cleaning drainage holes (Focus 2)

            0

During operation, moisture accumulates in the cavities of the thresholds, doors and trunk lid, causing corrosion. Drainage holes located below the thresholds (under the plastic protection of the thresholds), doors and in the trunk lid serve to remove moisture. They are constantly clogged with dirt, so clean them at each maintenance (every 20,000 km). When operating the car on country roads, perform this operation more often.

TIP: Clean out the drain holes before washing your car.

You will need: a screwdriver or a thin wooden stick.
