1. Remove the front door upholstery (cm. «Removal and installation of an upholstery of a forward door»).
2. Remove the inner handle of the front door lock drive (cm. «Replacement of the internal handle of a drive of the lock of a forward door»).
NOTE: It is necessary to remove the inner handle because it is difficult to disconnect the drive cable from the lock installed on the door. It is more convenient to remove the lock together with the cable, and to disconnect the cable from the handle, you need to remove it.
3. Remove the front door window regulator (cm. «Replacing the power window of the front door»).
4. Remove the outer handle of the front door (cm. «Replacing the outside handle and front door lock switch»).
5. Remove the three screws securing the lock to the door panel in the middle..
6.... and the upper parts of its butt.
7. Remove the outer handle front seal..
8.... remove the screw securing the lock to the outer panel of the door..
9.... and remove the lock by pulling it out through the technological hole in the door panel.
10. If it is necessary to replace the lock or the cable of its drive, use a screwdriver to separate the two retainers of the cable sheath stop..
11.... remove the sheath stop from the holder..
12.... turn the tip of the cable until its triangular mustache matches the slot in the lock lever..
13.... and, removing the tip finger from the lever hole, remove the cable.
14. For removal of a latch of the lock of a forward door turn out two screws of its fastening to a rack of a body and remove a latch.
15. Install the front door lock and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: If necessary, adjust the tightness of the lock by moving the latch in a vertical or horizontal direction, loosening its tightening.
