1. Remove the front door trim (see "Removing and installing the front door trim").
2. Remove the inner handle of the front door lock actuator (see "Replacing the inner handle of the front door lock actuator").
NOTE: It is necessary to remove the inner handle because it is difficult to disconnect the drive cable from the lock installed on the door. It is more convenient to remove the lock together with the cable, and to disconnect the cable from the handle, it is necessary to remove the handle.
3. Remove the front door window regulator (see "Replacing the front door window regulator").
4. Remove the front door outer handle (see "Replacing the outside handle and front door lock switch").

5. Remove the three screws securing the lock to the door panel in the middle…

6. …and the upper parts of its end.

7. Remove the front outer handle seal…

8. …unscrew the screw securing the lock to the outer door panel…

9. …and remove the lock, removing it through the technological hole in the door panel.

10. If it is necessary to replace the lock or its drive cable, use a screwdriver to spread the two cable sheath stop clamps…

11. …remove the shell stop from the holder…

12. …turn the end of the cable until its triangular end aligns with the slot in the lock lever…

13. …and, removing the tip pin from the lever hole, remove the cable.

14. To remove the front door lock latch, unscrew the two screws securing it to the body pillar and remove the latch.
15. Install the front door lock and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: If necessary, adjust the locking tightness by moving the latch vertically or horizontally, loosening its tightening.
