Replacing the power window rear door

You will need: key «on 10», flat blade screwdriver.

1. Remove the back door upholstery (cm. «Removal and installation of an upholstery of a back door»).

2. Remove rear door glass (cm. «Rear door glass replacement»).

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the glass from the door, it is enough to disconnect it from the power window and fix it in the highest position, for example, using a screwdriver, pieces of PVC pipe of a suitable diameter or masking tape.

3. Remove the inner handle of the rear door lock drive (cm. «Replacing the inner handle of the tailgate lock actuator»).

NOTE: It is necessary to remove the inner handle in order to disconnect the lock cable from it, passed through the hole in the power window base.

4. Prying with a screwdriver, push the cuff of the lock cable seal into the door..




5.... and three seal holders.



6. Turn out nine bolts of fastening of the basis of a window regulator to the panel of a door …



7.... and remove the power window by passing the door lock cable through the hole in its base.

8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
