Replacing the rear door window regulator (Focus 2)

You will need: a 10 mm wrench and a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Remove the rear door trim (see "Removing and installing rear door trim").

2. Remove the rear door glass (see "Replacing the rear door glass").

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the glass from the door; it is enough to disconnect it from the window lifter and fix it in the extreme upper position, for example, using a screwdriver, pieces of PVC pipe of a suitable diameter, or masking tape.


3. Remove the inner rear door lock actuator handle (see "Replacing the inner handle of the rear door lock actuator").

NOTE: It is necessary to remove the inner handle in order to disconnect the lock drive cable from it, which is passed through the hole in the base of the window regulator.
